Lets Make Homemade Honey Lemon Cough Syrup

How to Make Homemade Honey Lemon Cough Syrup


Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup honey
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup warm water

  1. Mix the honey with the lemon juice. Stir slowly and slowly add the warm water until it's mixed together well.
  2. Use one or two teaspoons every 2 to 3 hours or as needed. You can store this safely in the refrigerator for many months. If it gets separated or a little too hard to spoon easily, just warm it up a little in the microwave
  3. Keep some of this made up ahead of cold and flu season. It's great to have on hand for that cough and scratchy throat.
